Byzantine building of saint Dimitrios Kypseli

At a distance of 5 km from Mesopotamos northeast of the village, Kypseli’s old name “Turkopalouko” and next to the Kokytos tributary of Acheron is the post-Byzantine building of Agios Dimitrios based on the founding inscription that mentions Michael B Douka. then the Katholikon of the Monastery is built, from which ruined parts of the cells are preserved, it is a three-aisled cruciform church with later frescoes of the 17th – 18th century AD, then the bank of the Monastery is also dated.
